Our Beleifs We believe the Scriptures are verbally inspired of God, and the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct, accepted by our church as the revealed will of God and the all sufficient rule of faith and practice.

 

We believe there is one and only one living and true God, infinite and eternal. Maker of heaven and earth, holy, loving, just, righteous and that in the unity of the Godhead there are three separate Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in divine perfection, and executing distinct, but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption.

 

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ as the eternal Son of God; in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitutionary work on the cross, in His bodily resurrection from the dead, in His exaltation to the right hand of God, and in His coming again.

 

We believe God created man in His image; by voluntary transgression man fell from his sinless state; in consequence all men are now sinners in need of salvation.

 

We believe that God has provided salvation from sin and eternal death to righteousness and eternal life in the person of His Son Jesus Christ whose redemptive work on the cross-provided salvation to all who believe and receive Him as their Savior.

 

We believe that water baptism and communion as ordinances of the church, give outward demonstration of the covenant we have with God through Christ and with one another.

1. CHRIST - Jesus the CHRIST is the center and the focus of our Christian belief and is due all consideration, acknowledgement and control of the church.   He is the final authority.

 

2. PRAYER - Prayer is open and honest communication with God.  It helps to establish and advance our relationship with God through the exchange of feelings and understandings.   It also creates intimacy with God through the sharing of two hearts.

 

3. EVANGELISM - Through evangelism we share the knowledge of Christ with those who do not know Him, with an understanding that He has the answer to all life issues.   We believe that world change can only happen through changing the lives of people.

 

4. FELLOWSHIP - We know that one can best speak into people's lives through working relationships, and a mutual understanding of each other.   We know that there is no good ministry without good relationships.

 

5. WORD - We know that a relationship with God is strengthened through understanding the mind of God, which includes both His will and His way.   The study of God's word and principles are key to having faith with understanding.

 

6. STEWARDSHIP - Everything belongs to God and should be used to advance the Kingdom of God as He directs.

 

7. SERVICE - Everyone was meant to serve God, created and called to an individual purpose in God's divine plan.
